Surface qualities

We offer:

• surface roughness which is limited according to your requirements:

• The special quality " bright finishable" has a particularly fine, uniform structure for bright finishing without prior grinding. The strip or sheet thickness is 0.2 - 1.2 mm, the maximum width 780 mm.

• The special quality " electrolytically polishable" is distinguished by a particularly homogeneous microstructure and a smooth surface, so that electrochemical treatment to produce a uniform brightness is possible. The maximum strip or sheet thickness is 1.2 mm, the maximum width 780 mm.
  

• The special quality " etchable" has a particularly good planarity, a homogeneous microstructure and a high surface quality. The maximum strip or sheet thickness is 2 mm, the maximum width which can be supplied is 400 or 780 mm, depending on the alloy and the thickness.
  

• The special grade " bright" as rolled has a higher brightness than the standard form and a light film of oil. The strip or sheet thickness is 0.3 - 1.2 mm, the maximum width 780 mm.

• The special grade " high-polish rolled" presents a shiny, dry surface and is suitable for producing high-quality metal goods.The strip or sheet thickness is 0.3 - 1.5 mm, the maximum width 670 mm. Only a limited
• hardness can be achieved with this surface finish.
  

• The special grade " free from flow lines" is only slightly harder than the soft temper. Slight deformation does not cause any flow lines, and consequently this grade is used to produce flat, polished, deep-drawn parts. The strip or sheet thickness is 0.3 - 1.5 mm, the maximum width 670 mm.
