Position: Assistant QA Engineer / Supplier Management

-Reporting to the Supplier QA Engineer

Major Responsibilities

• Assist SQE in the qualifications of suppliers.
• Conduct verification and failure analysis on internal / external rejects and drive for CA closures.
• Direct liaison with inter-department / suppliers on CA effectiveness and preventive measure to resolve quality / technical issues.
• Generating reports on supplier claims and costing for internal management review.
• Assist in maintaining ISO System, reports, follow-up and closure.

Main Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Chemical, Quality Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Related experience in quality or engineering management preferably in metal, precision engineering or tool & die industry is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in supplier qualification, incoming inspection, in-process inspection, outgoing inspection, equipment calibration recall, claim handling and ISO documentation is an advantage.
• Possess good knowledge of Microsoft Office, SPC, MSA, FMEA or QC Tools.
• Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.
